 Appointments can be booked with the Practice Nurse for routine smears, swabs or to review your contraceptive/ HRT needs.

Travel Health

If you are planning a trip abroad please make a telephone appointment with the Practice Nurse. She will assess your Travel needs and arrange an appointment for NHS travel vaccinations or refer you to the appropriate clinics for private vaccinations. She can also arrange private prescriptions for anti-malaria tablets.

Over 40 Health Check

Available for lifestyle review including blood pressure and blood test to check for cholesterol or diabetes. 

If you are over 40 and have not yet been invited please feel free to book an appointment with our Healthcare Assistant.

Joint Injections

Joint injection surgery will be by appointment with Dr Krish or Dr Ganga or the First Contact Physiotherapist Laura. 

Heart Disease

Heart Disease clinics are with our HCA for your review.

Diabetes

Diabetic Check are with our HCA to review your diabetes. 

By appointment.

Led by our nursing team, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes.

Child Immunisation

Child immunisations.

The Practice nurse Paula will now be doing babies and child vaccinations.

Child Health

6-8 Week Check’s

All new babies are invited for regular check-ups from six weeks old.

Asthma/COPD

Your Asthma/COPD can be reviewed with one of our Nurses or HCA. 

By invitation, appointment or self referral.

Asthma sufferers can be seen in this clinic for advice and support from our nurses who specialise in asthma care. 

Antenatal

Please note, Antenatal clinics are not currently running from the surgery due to Covid-19. If you are due to see your Midwife, please contact the Midwife Office at Ormskirk Hospital (Tel: 01695 656668

Monday 2.00pm-4.00pm.

This clinic is run by the midwives. If you become pregnant, you need to see the doctor first to be referred to the hospital,  When you see the midwives at the practice you will need to book an appointment, they will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. 

You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice or at the local hospital, or both.
