Maximum of 10 patients per morning


These clinics are for patients who need to be seen quickly and are to unwell to wait for a routine appointment.  Our nurse clinicians run these clinics and are able to diagnose and prescribe medications.

To enable us to provide this service, only one problem can be dealt with and you will be asked to book routine appointment if you have more than one issue to discuss.

All patients are booked in at reception and seen in order of arrival, although if a patient with a medical emergency may be seen first as a matter of priority.


The following are not appropriate for the walk in clinic and will not be dealt

Chronic disease monitoring
Sick notes/Private letters

Medical or holiday insurance reports

Routine or travel vaccinations

Repeat prescriptions

Review of recent hospital admission/appointment

Cytology (smears)


If in doubt speak to reception staff to avoid unnecessary waiting






Monday 2.00pm-4.00pm.


This clinic is run by the midwives. If you become pregnant, you need to see the doctor first to be referred to the hospital,  When you see the midwives at the practice you will need to book an appointment, they will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks.


You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice or at the local hospital, or both.





By invitation, appointment or self referral.


Asthma sufferers can be seen in this clinic for advice and support from our nurses who specialise in asthma care.



Child health


All new babies are invited for regular check-ups from six weeks old.



Child Immunisation


The Practice nurse Cathy and Paula will now be doing babies and child vaccinations.


Tuesday 2pm - 3.15pm.


Thursday alernative weeks 2pm - 4pm





By appointment


Led by our nursing team, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes.

Joint Injections


Joint injection surgery will be by appointment with Dr Krish or Dr Sur



Over 40 Health Check


Available for lifestyle review including blood pressure and referral for blood test to check for cholesterol or diabetes.


If you are over 40 and have not yet been invited please feel free to book an appointment with our Healthcare Assistant.



Travel Health


If you are planning a trip abroad please make a telephone appointment with the Practice Nurse. She will assess your Travel needs and arrange an appointment for NHS travel vaccinations or refer you to the appropriate clinics for private vaccinations. She can also arrange private prescriptions for anti-malaria tablets.


Women’s Health


Appointments can be booked with the Practice Nurse for routine smears, swabs or to review your contraceptive/ HRT needs.
